Ms. May has been working with children and teaching them Chinese language and introducing them the rich Chinese culture. Ms. May is currently teaching young children starting from very early stage to more advanced class. Students enjoy her class everyday with material and activities including singing, speaking, dancing and art works. Ms. May recreates a Chinese learning environment for her students that is fun and very dynamic. Her students include native as well as non-native Chinese speakers.
In addition to following the weekly theme of the school activity, Ms. May classroom also emphasizes the tradition and holidays celebrated in China and Taiwan such as Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival and there will be special events and topics around those holidays.
